Cheese
and Spinach with Pasta
Combines three of the five food groups: milk,
vegetables,
and grains

Time is only 5 minutes
Ingredients
1
tbsp of olive oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed and chopped
10 ounce pack frozen chopped spinach, thawed
or preferably an equivalent fresh amount
1 cup low fat cottage cheese
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
9 ounces angel hair pasta, cooked

Wash
hands and get all the ingredients out. |

Drizzle
1 TBSP of olive oil in frying pad.

Chop
garlic. Over medium heat, sauté garlic.

Drain
spinach by pressing into strainer to remove excess
water. (If using fresh spinach
- this should have been reduced in a large pan
with a little water by the parent and chopped.) |

Add
spinach to skillet and heat through.

Measure
out cottage cheese and parmesan cheese.

cheeses to skillet and stir until melted.

Place
cooked pasta in serving bowl.
